Cullman is recognized as one of Alabama’s top Parks and Recreational organizations. Cullman Parks & Recreation & Sports Tourism (CPRST) offers a range of recreational amenities including 10 parks, two golf courses, a disc golf course, an RV Resort, a Farmer’s Market, a Water Park and 6 recreational facilities. CPRST was the 2023 recipient of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Gold Medal Award and in 2019 became the first and only agency in Alabama to achieve National CAPRA accreditation.
