About CEDA
The Cullman Economic Development Agency (CEDA), a division of the City of Cullman, Alabama, provides assistance to new and existing industries and developers, encouraging positive economic growth in our community. Our goal is to create jobs and investments that propel a successful economy.
The Cullman EDA is advised by a nine member Industrial Development Board. These volunteers are appointed to 6-year terms by the Cullman City Council.
CEDA has developed five industrial parks, an industrial complex and created one of the most successful speculative building programs in Alabama with the construction and sale of five buildings.
What CEDA can do for you:
- One-stop-shop for industries – both new and existing
- Filing and administration of tax abatements
- Be a proponent for legislation
- Plan announcements, groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings for industry
- Assist with obtaining or improving infrastructure requirements
- Locate available sites or buildings for industrial or retail development projects
- Facilitate training needs between industry and local/state education institutions
- Assist in the permitting process
- Local wage and benefit survey available to participants
- Assist international companies
- Apply for site preparation grants
- Provide demographic data
